FREE Taster Class -Â Konverse Dance Crews Classes

Do you want to join a fun and engaging street dance and afrobeat classes and take part in shows and competitions?. Sign up to our free dance taster session so you can get a feel of the real thing. A space to engage, communicate, exercise, build confidence and expressing oneself.

Our Lockdown Story

Working towards filming project of "Our lockdown story"
Class 1, 2 & 3 : 6-35 Yr OLD
Every Thursday and Friday 5:30 - 6:30PM and some Saturday's. - FREE SESSIONS

Focusing on the impact of the pandemic and how having no access to dance affected Kdc members, families and teachers. They will then work on turning their experience and emotions into a dance documentary video piece.
​
June - Saturday Classes
Focusing on physical health
- The sessions will allow the young people to focus on their physical health and staying active whilst learning new dance moves and styles.
​
July - Friday classes
Focusing on Mental health
- The sessions focus on the mental wellbeing of the students and exploring the impact of the pandemic. They incorporate their thoughts and express them in their moves.
​
August - Friday classes
Concept developing and healthy eating.
- The students focus on their lockdown story and the biggest effects on them as individuals.
​
27th August 2021 12-6 Filming week.

Sessions will take place at Barking Salvation Army 240 Ripple Road IG11 7DJ.
