Programmes
Our Accelerate programme is a new initiative proudly funded by a £9,951 grant from the National Lottery. This project is designed to extend Konverse Dance Crews impact by offering free certifications and training opportunities to local community members aged 16-35. These certifications include DBS, first aid, physical activity training, and safeguarding, which are often costly and difficult to access.
By removing these barriers, the programme provides life-changing opportunities for individuals with an interest in sports or creative arts and dance.
Participants will not only gain valuable qualifications but also become eligible for local employment and hands-on experience by supporting and chaperoning our dance club. As well as this we will be partnering up with Dance perforessionals to deliver different foundation dance style.
Through this initiative, we aim to empower the next generation of local leaders and contributors to our community through Dance at Konverse Dance Crews.
